Born and raised in an entrepreneurial-spirited family, Roger opened his industry leading computer theft prevention business in 1996 as Common Sense Computer Security. In January 2001, Common Sense Computer Security incorporated and changed its name to Hard Steal Security Corp.
After studying computer science and business, Roger identified a niche market in computer theft prevention after experiencing a devastating break-in at a former workplace. This, coupled with the media broadcast of a wide rash of business break-and-enters at the time, spurred Roger to create the first generation of the STEAL Bolt system in April 1996.
Depending purely on positive word-of-mouth advertising, Roger built his business from part time to full time in less than eight months. Roger credits his business success to delivering a highly effective, cost-efficient product, with excellent customer service. After seven successful years in business, his strategy is still working strong.
